Sometimes aftershave can be really nice to put on and is a nice add on to the deodorant, then again sometimes people put on way to much and you end up smelling worse than you would without it.

There is a really bad time when this can happen and that is in a restaurant with many people going. Of course attending these types of events means that everyone must dress up and wear their best which in turn means that they will make an effort in the dressing process as well as the clothes they actually wear which means they are likely to get out their best shaving soap and shaving brushes to make sure they are clean shaven for the evening.

This is all good and well but then people will go and spoil it by plastering themselves in way too much. A small amount is a good idea as it clears the face and some even smell quite nice. However a large amount of the stuff and you will get people moving as far away from you as possible during the meal.

People want to eat their dinner not your aftershave and in the worst cases you can actually smell the fragrance enough to taste it and that is just a sure sign for a ruined dinner. Aftershave doesn’t go with any food at all; this is a fact as I have suffered the smell of a strong aftershave at many, many dinner parties.

So if you see your partner heading towards the bathroom make sure you run in and ensure that he only puts on a small amount of the stuff.

Of course this doesn’t just apply for men, women can be even worse, smothering themselves in perfumes that are not needed.

Using very little is the way foward, using to much is wasting money!
